David Jaberi Shares His Upcoming Plans

 

I talked to David Jaberi today to find out what the future holds for his music and projects. It turns out he’s got some excellent stuff coming up that he’d like to do and put out there for everyone. Among these projects include more touring (he just finished up a lengthy spring tour with Cole Milner around almost the entire US), a few releases, and some time spent recording with friends. Here are some of the things he has in the works:

• Recording his friend’s solo project titled Guiding Water along with releasing a split 7″ of David Jaberi and Guiding Water.
• Another US tour with Nevin Kight.
• A possible month long festival with a show one day a week in the California and Portland area that will feature bands playing improvised sets and on the spot songs.
• Possible short tour of the California area with Guiding Water and maybe At Night.
• Release of a Ramones cover album.
• Possible tour release featuring several recorded shows from his current spring tour with Cole Milner.

 
As you can see, David has some big plans and a lot on his plate. These are all tentative ideas, but be on the lookout for any or all of them in the near future.
